Have been getting my hands on more media recently.  I use about any place to pick up movies.  One place was TSC (Tractor Supply Company) with a 10 pack DVD that included Cloak & Dagger (Atari commercial/espionage).  Jamie's Flea Market is another great pick with a verity of vendors. Sadly the one I tend to choose is our Public Library.  The thing about our public library is some of the protective cases have a tendency to scratch the DVD's with bad molding techniques.
Last week I picked up a copy of BOSOM BUDDIES.  It had that 80's sitcom feeling.  More then I knew.  After watching an episode I figured out what appealed to me.  Bosom Buddies 1980 IMDB It is a Robert L. Boyett, Thomas L. Miller and (?) Christ Thompson (The fourth Stooge?).
The leads go to a lot of people.  Recently I figured out that "EXTRAS"  make a movie.  Usually I only cared about top billed stars (What a fool I was).  I really will not get into all the actors in this show.  I will focus on four (actually I would like to say "five." Joe Mantenga plays a Shiek in a gambling episode and has the funniest line).  Peter Scolari, Wendy Jo Sperber, Thelma Hopkins, Tom Hanks.
Wendy Jo Sperber played the role of Linda McFly (George's daughter from Back To The Future BTTF).  Wendy is hilarious in this series, but she wears these long sweater dresses (?) that I feel I am watching Facts Of Life.
Tom Hanks had too much fun on this show.  I wish I could say more.  He really killed the part of a Hippie in an episode of the second season (That was the only season on the shelf) for a five year High School Reunion. It was inevitable that the show was to be cancelled.  I believe the whole show was the premise for the movie Sorority Boys.
Thelma Hopkins seems to enjoy the show as well.  There is still a twinkle to her appearance but she seems to be outside of the circle.  It's kind of like watching Aunt Rachael's (Family Matters Television show) college years.  Her character has better lines in Family Matters which is a great improvement.
Finally Peter Scolari.  Originally I noticed him in the Television series Honey I Shrunk The kids.  The Television show had just about enough chance as Bosom Buddies.  The show has opportunity, but it can easily lose scope.  In Bosom Buddies a lot of events only occurred once. A female will be in one episode and in the next it was like she never existed.  This was also present in Honey I Shrunk The Kids.  Peter Scolari looks different from his Bosom Buddies days.  If you watch the show or have seen it.  Peter seems very athletic, but compared to Honey I Shrunk The Kids his character is suppose to be an all day inventor.  In fact in the movie Honey I Shrunk The Kids the character has a chance to go outside.  Unwilling to chance to crushing the children in the lawn he constructs a  floating-rotating hammock.  His one chance at exercise becomes hammock rest. Peter Scolari really does bring out his character, demeanor, jokes, immaturity, and awful ideas.

XBOX original/classic has defects.  I am not sure if I mentioned it before, but in the original XBOX the internal Hard Drive is coded to the board.  This is a pretty easy fix, except I have not tried it. Sadly most of the first editions with big bulky Disc Drives have a very large amount of Laser failures.  Where the Laser can no longer read the pits of the disc.  Lowering the trimmer pot/calibrating of the laser will more likely lead to a burnt out Laser then a working one.  It will be time consuming but I will need to find the Disc Drive replacements.  I read on a site somewhere that some of the Drives are the same ones used in Personal Computers and are interchangeable.  These last several weeks I have been avoiding the truth that the laser component needs replaced.  That I cannot fix it.  I am having a hard time finding Original XBOX Laser replacements.  Why did XBOX name their XBOX 720 XBOX ONE?  That is what I called the original XBOX. XBOX 1, XBOX 360, XBOX 720.

On a side note I have been working on my arcade.  I have an almost working joy pad reusing a Loot Crate box.  One button's light dims out and another button is not connected or mis-connected should I say.  Another problem was some of the games will not give me a continue regardless of how many "COINS" I pushed in.  Here is a picture of my  joy pad. It is pretty portable right now, but I wanted to give arcades back to kids.  There is a NO-CONTEST at Jamie's Flea Market and that is where I am Wednesday and Saturday.

THE SHADOW 1994 with Alec Baldwin is one of my favorite movies.  The Fifth Element (1997) is another one of my favorite movies as well. I highly recommend them both as Fantasy/Sci-Fi.

I just wanted to say that I have purchased my first arcade board.  As soon as I get it, it will mean a lot to me.  I was hoping to be able to have several cabinets (getting ahead of myself again) that I could drag onto my drive way on free play and let neighbors play it.  Stephanie said that it seemed kind of odd that I would have free arcades for a system with the demographics of about 10-16 year old males.  I was kind of like...."OH!" (it is great to have a best friend who shows you what others will think, instead of you thinking you are going to be the next Nolan Bushnell).

On a sad note today, I have lost the key to the fence to let me to chicken coop. I need to find it.  When I get my board and extra parts and I have it all working.  Know that I will post pictures.

Trying to learn how to do Chiptunes.  Here is a link for WikiHow. How to ChipTunes start. You will need more websites.  I would love to have one, but you need to mod your Gameboy or system, then yo have to find the software cart to play it.

On the Darkened Duo story, I have chapter one finished. Just need all the others done and edited.

Labor day, meant cleaning day.  I have started to write a script for a comic book or perhaps more of a novel.  Being at Jamie's Flea Market keeps me from being a sociopath.  Really.  I use to just dwell in my basement working on this and that.  All this awesomeness that was kept at my house by myself, was able to be taken to Jamie's.  I found a lot more people with the same interest as mine.  My mind is flowing.  The ironic thing is we went to Jamie's to sell my video game/electronics based items, but instead we are pushing Stephanie's craft projects.  What was Stephanie's "Hobby" is now going to be our main source of income at Jamie's.  Thank's to John Pankratz.  I guess he thought he was the only one to be called a Dreamer, but he's not.  Everything happens for a reason, the question is whether it is a bomb or a Gift-horse.  I feel bad when I do not post on here.  I have recently been joining a lot of groups on Facebook. Some how more confidence as well.  There are still times when I am commenting on someones post and they choice to ignore my comments.  I thought little teen girls laughing at me was when I was suppose to go all Carrie on them, but now I understand to leave. When I use to stay and fight little girls...I became worse then the Hulk (more jokes at my expense).  John allowed me to borrow a comic, whose title I have forgotten, but I refer to it as an Elevator Of Awesomeness! Every level that was fought on a new character would show up.  Funny I am writing on here, because I would rather be spending more time developing the Story of  the DARKENED DUO series.

Just took some of my comics over to GTLS for the three J's to borrow.  John said to take my Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children over to Jen and see what she thought of it.  Jen quickly wrote down the author
Dave Louapre and Illustrator Dan Sweetman.  She started saying how she liked unique stories and her Husband Shawn started talking about a series of comics titles Fables.  That is when I stated I enjoyed fables such as Grimms, but I only like a special kind of series that I could not find and I told Jen about my favorite Grimm story.  Jen said it was called The Juniper tree.  I am so ecstatic!!!  GLEE!!! John started me on Judge Dredd today.

Found something interesting.  Well, actually two things.  I have this accessory called a B.A.R.T. from 1986 PANOSH - BIO AUTOMATED ROVING TARGET.   It was the first one I had seen, but thanks to the internet I was able to find information.  It was used as part of the Laser tag accessories that kind of made one look like a power ranger.  Here is one link that goes in depth.  Just in case you missed the original home based laser tag B.A.R.T. purpose and use.  This is a loosely based timeline for Laser tag with pictures (including Star Wars laser tag)! Scroll down to the pictures and timeline of Laser Tag.

Thank you!
I received this VHS from a friend that I had never heard of.  The title of the movie is Six Degrees of Separation .  My only complaint about the movie is the male frontal nudity, while the guy is wearing I believe a Ski mask (I am not sure because I Fast Forwarded the film, while blocking the screen from my near by teens).  It is a movie about intellect, pride, and helping of others.  The dialog is outstanding and the actors are their characters.  My teens favorite line from the movie is, "She said drugs and she looked at me!"  But this is the kind of movie I like, ones that make me think, imagine, and create.  It was important for me to post about this film.  It involves art dealers and a life about putting a twist on words to make you different from each other.

Thank you!

Another slow day at work.  I forgot to get pictures, because we have expanded.  We now carry wax tarts (a small candle like piece that is placed on a electric warmer or with a candle under it), lip balms, guest soaps (one time use soaps, except for the race car shaped one, that should last at least three showers), and smelly jellies (an air freshener with crystal like balls).

The toys I have are a foot cruiser ship that comes with a figure and some more Star Wars related vehicles.
My back is tired from all the somersaults I have been doing over anything to do with the Flea Market.  At first I want to give up, sit down, play games, cry, raise prices, cry, help others who need help, cry, and smile.  I am blessed to not have bullet scars, sure it would show signs of struggle, but I feel bad about what is going on around the world.  Mr. Spy Mr. Spy is the name of the game.

Thanks,

I am on the lookout for a toy my cousin had around the middle of the 80's.  When I asked him
about it all he said was that they came in a building set allowing you to make transports and such.
The figures are small and I remember them being either Blue and Gray or Gray and blue (Torso-legs).  My favorite part was pulling the arms and legs off.  If anyone has any information I would love to hear it.
These last several days I have been all over Ebay and Google trying to find any information on them.

Thank you,

IT'S ALIVE...IT'S ALIVE!!!   I have been spending this last week repairing a PS2.  Swapping cords was not working, either was swapping drives.  In the end I decided to learn how to calibrate the laser.  This is an older PS2.  My suspicion was that electronics had become to advanced and would need a 2-1B Medical Droid to walk me through the replacing of a Disc Drive.  Well, some of is was true.  Instead I used Google (DROIDS!!!) to figure out the calibration.  There are several parts and pieces that can be replaced or altered.  The first place I started with was swapping Disc Drives, but that did not work (Later I found out that I had moved the laser set to "OPEN" when the tray was closed). After that failed attempt I calibrated the POTS on the bottom of the laser.  When that did not help I swapped the laser out with one I knew would work.  The problem with the original laser was it would state it was reading the Disc, when the Drive was not even running.  Weirdly after several minutes of nothing the Drive would spin and the Disc would play.

Thank you!!!

I have repairs to work on.  Some things seem easy, others do not.  Luckily I am able to restore to like new conditions .  At this moment I am trying to figure out how Peter Cushing plays a Dr. Who.  I cannot seem to find which Number of Dr. he is.  It is sad to see people get old.  Peter did a great job as Grand Moff Tarkin in my opinion, making him comparable to a Sith Lord.  List of Dr.s No Cushing.
What a failure.  Nope, Cushing is not considered a real Dr.  Currently they have announced the 13th Dr.  There is also another spoof of Dr. Who played by several famous actors.  In the episode Dr. Who transforms from Rowan Atkinson, Hugh Grant, and a female lead.  Sadly they used more sensuality for the female lead, causing me to give it a rating of PG-13.  COMIC RELIEF IMDB DOCTOR WHO THE CRUSE OF THE FATAL DEATH.

Thank you!!

As the Program states from Tron Legacy.  The one trying to talk to Zeus, his words are, "It has begun."
I am going to repair mainly video game consoles. This is what I want to do and this is how I want to make money doing it.  Luckily for more vintage gamers the repair is usually less then a 1/4 value of the system.  For the restoration of an NES mostly from the blinking light it is generally five dollars.  My kids and I were watching LITTLE MONSTERS on Youtube today.  I IMDBed the movie, finding out that Rick Ducommun plays the character Snik. Sadly the guy does not seem to have a picture for his IMDB profile. Rick Ducommun IMDB

The pressure is building for me to start writing again.  Hopefully my grammar has improved.  Generally I write poetry but I love writing Lovecraftian style.  I am also trying to keep two other blogs going.  There are two new listings for my Ebay page.  Two different types of Electronic tools.  One is different styles of boards and the other is a motor drive.  I received them from an Electrical Engineer, but I am selling them as parts.  The neat thing is getting to see older boards or more like older outdated components.  EBAY for OLOSNAHCRAFTS.

At my wives request I have restructured an aspect of our business.  Instead of doing repairs the days I am open I will be working on my personal projects.  I will be relaxed knowing that I can walk away from my projects which lack needing to be completed as soon as possible.  We have one of our newer batches of Body Butters to use at home.  It is the Lemon Shea Body Butter and smells decent.  The new business cards arrived from Vista Print and I have been trying to hand it out as much as possible.  I felt like one of those business men from an episode of Kids In The Hall...,"Taxiee!"

Their are two new listings up on Ebay.  One is three plates from Lenox and the other is a Rare game of the Great Muppet Caper 3-D Board Game from Milton Bradley.  I am hoping to have another listed tonight (It will be an Electronics Board).

  Thank you!

P.S. I had an older gentleman speaking to me about how he had an Atari VCS 2600 and an Atari 2600 Jr. He said one of them needed repaired and he was visiting from Cincinnati OH.  Luckily I had my business card to hand to him.  He also bragged about his score in River Raid, I forget the actual count, but I know that I had not heard of a score that high.

I feel that everyone should have a video game console without having to pay over hundreds of dollars.
Currently I have an older model of a PlayStation 2 with one controller and two games for $35.00.
I also have a GameCube with one controller and two games for $30.  For video games I have an "Original Resident Evil" CAPCOM game (released only the Famicom) with English translation for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Finally I am feeling more confident on selling on Ebay.   Here is my
current listing for Princess Rescue Homebrew for the Atari VCS 2600
(Mario) Princess Rescue Atari VCS 2600 Homebrew Mario platform game.
This was just listed last night.  We will also be at Jamie's Flea Market on Wednesday
and Saturday unless posted otherwise.  We Repair/Buy Broken vintage electronics,
mostly video game consoles or video games.  I need as much advertising as I can.
Here is the FaceBook link for Jamie's Flea Market!
Jamie's Flea Market, the largest in North-Eastern Ohio!
I have booths #45-#46 in the center (middle) building, which is the new building on
Wednesday and Saturday 8 A.M. to 4 P.M.

The display case is finally full, but now I need help to try and keep it half empty.  It is
about time, but I finally feel bad for Tester/Demos/Samplers at the mall.  In my past experience I felt that I have been attacked about having to try this lotion that I could not live without. Anytime they asked me if I wanted to sample their
lotions or receive a spritz of their perfume, ironically I do that now.  Some people have gone overboard making them the better salesperson, but at a cost.  "Would you like to try a sample of our natural Vegan friendly lotions or body creams?"
"Oh, well, God Bless you anyway!"  The body butters are a harder lotion kind of like a primer that last longer.  I use it after a shower generally whereas the lotion is applied through out the day on hands.  Lotion items are kept on the display case.

Making a movie is tough.  I am going to repeat this over and over.  Small budgeted/small crew productions should be complimented (regardless of how you felt) on making and distributing a movie.  I would love to have a movie made, but my wife insisted on my reading how-to books.  My wife was right. In the past I have read books and books on making movies and movies.  It was hard for me to find the right book as well, because there is a lot of over lap, but a two hundred page book may only have a page worth of information that I need to add to my knowledge.  A page, and I needed to at least skim through the whole book to find where all the paragraphs lie. Returning to a statement I may have made in the past, I should be able to duplicate Star Wars A New Hope (1977- started around 1970, with filming around 1974).  What I mean is, I want that filter that makes the difference between viewing a film screen and watching America's Funniest Home Videos (Yes, I use to watch it only for Bob Saget's voice overs).

I finally have items to repair and restore.  In only a month I feel that I have changed directions from an only nick-knack store to the store of my dreams (But the store in my dreams would also have a great selection of   arcade games-which I am not allowed even one at the moment).

Right now I am wondering if the Pinball Shoppe of North Olmsted would allows us to "TEST" his arcades to make sure they are in working order.
We finally had someone move it next to use.  He is an artist that does caricature portraits.  This is great since I love most forms of art.
On the video game side of things I am seeing a rise in prices for the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) games while I feel that prices for XBOX and PS2 (Play Station 2) are dropping.  GC (GameCube) games are hard to price some are low others really high.
With repairing SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) controllers I have found a weird glitch.  I do not know if it is only the SNES controller or the SNES system, but I have a lot fail on me.  A brand new one just quit with no cause and rewiring an SNES controller is difficult work.  I think maybe an SNES system can be faulty and short an SNES controller, because I have new ones quit on me. Now I am going to restore a PS2 system, thanks!

Finally have a store front at Jamie's (Jay-May's) Flea market.  I have had my dream come true, the only problem right now is that I cannot have an arcade game.  It has taken us three weeks to finally set up everything.   The great thing about it is that, I can price items at the price I am willing to pay for them.  Most of our BOOKS, DVD's, VHS, Decor, and Baby/Kids clothing sell for $0.25 (twenty-five cents) or 5/$1.00 (five for a dollar).  Luckily this week I was able to set up shop, restoring and repairing game consoles.  I am more of a vintage kind of guy.  We also purchase non-working electronics that you own and give around 20% of the value I would sell it for.  Any cords or adapters you may have I will always be happy to look at!

Just went to the Groovy Little Toy Store the other day and picked up a Lego Set, Battle-tech Genesis game, and a couple of NES games.  Sadly, I also picked up another copy of TENGEN GAUNTLET.  I really need to check my NES list before going into a store.

Yes I am still trying to contemplate how to actually film a movie.  Books, Books, and more Books.  Sometimes Movies about Movies. On a side note.  Several days ago I wanted an appropriate Akira movie.  I did not enjoy the nudity in Sin City, but I was thinking, if Sin City, why not Akira (movies should not have nudity-in fact in writing a script I am trying a new technique where I write a story that allow me to film around my actors life.  I will only have kissing in my stories if the actors are married in real life.)?  Looking at my posts on FaceBook a friend of mine just put a five minute trailer up for Akira.

When it comes to movies I feel that I can pick two to live with forever.  Tron and the first Star Wars. This also brings up other questions.  If I really am inspired by Tron and Star Wars, then can I not film my own unique Space-Opera???  Will I not be able to make a presentable film using ideas and concepts from a movie using tech from at least 1974-77 if not earlier.  Hopefully my computer can generate better graphics then the bare bone design (which in my opinion is the first movie to use CG) of the Trench run?

Roger, Roger, I believe I sold out.  Last Sunday I  watched a Christian movie that my wife rented titled Grace Unplugged.  The story really hit close to home.  If you ever wanted to be a music star and see how music is produced  you should watch this movie.  Grace has a tiny studio in her room where she shoots the demo song.  The part I really did not like about the movie was that it really had to be smooth and to do that they needed Grace to come to some realizations that take others decades to find out.  The message from the movie is the better part where we can keep appropriate and make money doing it.
